Wake Market Watch (“WMW,” “we,” “us”) is an independent real-estate information platform for Wake County, North Carolina, operated as a DBA of LCDRMS Enterprises, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose.
The short version
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not hand your information to real-estate agents or lenders. No agent or lender will contact you because you used this site — you choose who, if anyone, you reach out to.
- Our readiness quiz runs in your browser; your answers are not stored or transmitted unless you separately choose to join our email list.
- We use basic analytics and, if you opt in, send you our own market updates. That’s it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you choose to join our email list, we collect the email address (and any name) you provide. Email sign-ups use double opt-in — you’ll confirm by clicking a link before we send anything.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring site — through server logs and analytics (such as Google Analytics 4). This helps us understand what content is useful and keep the site running.
The “Path to Home-Ready” tool. The questions you answer in our readiness tool are processed entirely in your own browser to show you relevant resources. We do not store, transmit, or see those answers. If you later opt in to our email list, that is a separate, explicit choice.
Cookies. We use cookies for site functionality and analytics. Affiliate links on our site may set third-party cookies operated by those partners so they can credit a referral — see our affiliate disclosure. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings.

Affiliate partners: when you click an affiliate link and visit a partner’s site, that partner collects and handles your information under its own privacy policy. We don’t control those sites.
Email choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Because we use double opt-in, you won’t receive marketing email unless you confirmed your subscription.
Data retention & security
We keep subscriber information for as long as you remain subscribed or as needed for our legitimate operations, and we delete or anonymize it when no longer needed.
